Dancehall superstar Sean Paul began scoring hit singles in Jamaica in 1996 and steadily attracted international attention thereafter, eventually breaking into the pop mainstream in 2002 with Dutty Rock. Born Sean Paul Henriques on January 8, 1973, the multi-ethnic Paul (his parents had Portuguese, Chinese, and Jamaican forebears) grew up comfortably in St. Andrew, Jamaica, his mother a renowned painter. He was a skilled athlete, excelling in swimming and especially water polo, playing for the Jamaican national team in the latter. Although his education was enough to land him a prosperous career, dancehall music remained Paul's first love, particularly crafting rhythm tracks. Behind the project Pulsedriver is Slobodan Petrovic Jr. The congenial 31 year-old started his DJ career in 1990 in clubs in Northern Germany, playing a number of different styles. Rapidly he fell for a fascination of house, techno and trance. It shows Kid Cudi, wearing a Guns N' Roses T-shirt and a Cleveland Indians baseball hat, and David Guetta walking along the Biscayne Boulevard, while the club scenes were filmed in Nocturnal.Fans were invited to be in the club scene. There is also a scene that takes place in a Franck Provost hair dressing salon where a hairdresser is using a hair dryer on a bald man, and another applies shaving foam in a circle on another client's head. It shows the camera crew to be nude models which are seen reflecting in windows, metal objects and mirrors throughout the video with certain areas censored out. Almost everyone has heard of the Rio Carnaval. Foreign visitors to it alone number around 500,000 every year.Rio Carnival is a wild 5 days celebration, 40 days before Easter. It officially starts on Friday and finishes on Fat Tuesday with the beginning of Lent on Ash Wednesday after which one is supposed to abstain from all bodily pleasures. Carnival with all its excesses, celebrated as a profane event, can be considered an act of farewell to the pleasures of the flesh. It usually happens in February, the hottest month in the Southern Hemisphere, when the Rio summer is at its peak.There are carnival celebrations in virtually every corner of Brazil, the best-known ones taking place in Recife together with the neighboring Olinda (in the North of Brazil) and Salvador.
