Macklemore vs ShowTek - Cant Hold us Slow Down (Sneaky Hybrid Bootleg)

Macklemore holds a singular place in both the Pacific Northwest and now across the country as he emerges as a premier national hip-hop artist with numerous career highlights to his name. A genuine lyricist and a captivating performer, Macklemore, with his DJ/production partner Ryan Lewis, have garnered critical acclaim, a devoted fan base, and a steadily growing anticipation for their upcoming work.Macklemore & Ryan Lewis’ music is distinct for channeling cultural moments and refreshingly self-aware testimony through candid lyricism and expertly crafted composition. Their work has impressed and enthused a multitude of listeners, nowhere more evident than in the populist barometer of the internet, where some of Macklemore’s songs, videos and even fan-uploaded media have over one million listens and views. The recent single “Wings” is an anthemic meditation on being of the Air Jordan generation with a lucid perspective on an otherwise trodden motif. “Otherside” offers a darkly searing portrait of his own story of addiction and the hype of substance within hip-hop culture. Crowd-favorite songs like “And We Danced” and “Irish Celebration” demonstrate Macklemore’s ability to get raucous with disarming candor and relentlessly energetic showmanship. On their first national headlining tour in the spring of 2011, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis packed houses and sold out a majority of their shows, including those in New York City, Chicago, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and a three-night run at Seattle’s Showbox at the Market, where over 3,500 tickets sold out in less than 48 hours.Listen song here:YouTube

Fatboy Slim & Riva Starr - Eat Sleep Rave Repeat (Henry Fong Bootleg)

Just when you think you know Riva Starr...He’ll probably confuse you with yet another side to his musical personality.Don’t call him fickle, though.Try bored.Try excitable.Try unpredictable...And then some!As Philippe Stark once famously said “I do not try to please everybody, I make what I can, how I can, when I can.I try to deserve to exist by doing my job well. I have this sickness called creativity and I exploit this sickness to offer new meaning in things to my friends. That’s it, very simple” Riva humbly subscribes…Driven from his Italian motherland by a compelling desire to reinvent, innovate and progress, Riva has made London his home since 2008: A breath of freedom and fresh beats that allowed to him to wear his inspirations proudly beyond the sleeve and deep, deep, deep into the groove.A Neapolitan cultural exile with a degree in Chinese literature; a passionate family guy who still manages to juggle a DJ schedule of over 200 international gigs a year, a label and production duties. How can you pigeonhole a man who never sits still? From the dolce vita to Dalston, the Big Smoke’s open eared community and exciting cauldron of influences finally allowed him to truly make the records he wanted to make. In the past he’d produced house, techno, breakbeat, electro, pop, folk and everything in between. Here was the city where he could bring them together. As the very name of his own label Snatch suggests, Riva’s unpredictable “Magic Hat” selection keeps both him and us listeners on our toes. It’s kept him relevant, but more importantly, it’s kept him alive and kicking…To Riva, though, he’s just doing his job, hoping to pick up new friends along the way. It’s been like this from the very first releases. Having taken his previous guises as far as he could, his infamous debuts on Made To Play and DirtyBird were the result of anonymous MySpace demo entries. Refusing to rely on any kudos he’d developed before, Riva took a brave dive into a whole new world of beats and let the music speak for itself.Since then he’s strutted with acts as varied as Noze and Balkan Beat Box, remixed Dennis Ferrer, Usher, Gossip and Estelle (to name a few) while future fix-ups include Fatboy Slim and Beardyman.Listen song here:YouTube

Matias Endoor & Ayon ft. Andia - Some day

A ballad is a often a narrative set to music. Ballads derive from the medieval French chanson balladee or ballade, which were originally "dancing songs".Ballads were originally composed to accompany dances, and so were composed in couplets with refrains in alternate lines. These refrains would have been sung by the dancers in time with the dance. In all traditions most ballads are narrative in nature, with a self-contained story, often concise and rely on imagery, rather than description, which can be tragic, historical, romantic or comic.Themes concerning rural laborers and their sexuality are common. Most northern and west European ballads are written in ballad stanzas or quatrains (four-line stanzas) of alternating lines of iambic (an unstressed followed by a stressed syllable) tetrameter (eight syllables) and iambic trimeter (six syllables), known as ballad meter. Usually, only the second and fourth line of a quatrain are rhymed (in the scheme a, b, c, b), which has been taken to suggest that, originally, ballads consisted of couplets (two lines) of rhymed verse, each of 14 syllables.Listen song here:YouTube

Avicii - Wake Me Up (Andry J bootleg remix)

Singer-songwriter Aloe Blacc’s affecting voice, perceptive lyrics, and dapper sartorial flair are already familiar to music lovers in Europe. In 2010, his international Top 10, platinum-selling single “I Need A Dollar” surged across the continent, ringing out from the streets of Paris to the soul clubs of London, combining social consciousness with irresistible pop. Throughout 2011, Blacc and his touring band, The Grand Scheme, hit the road in support of Blacc’s second solo album and international breakthrough Good Things; turning in memorable sets at iconic festivals like Montreux Jazz in Switzerland and Glastonbury in the UK. Blacc performed “I Need A Dollar” on the French TV programs Taratata and Le Grand Journal, as well as the influential British music show Later…with Jools Holland; spurring the track to become the de facto anthem to the post-Great Recession recovery. “Everyone has a relationship with money and can understand the experience of needing a dollar,” Blacc says of the song’s appeal. “I'm really interested in creating music that can influence positive social change,” he adds.Years ago, there were those who made this look easy: Marvin Gaye, Gil Scott-Heron, Sly Stone, Bob Marley, and Stevie Wonder, to name a few, and their influence is readily apparent on the retro soul stylings of Good Things. So is the hip hop that Blacc took to almost as soon as he could walk. “I was a B-boy at age four,” he says. “The neighborhood crew nicknamed me ‘Little Rock.’ Eventually I started experimenting with rhyme, and by age nine I was writing my own rap lyrics on a small pocket note pad.” Licensed around the world, Good Thingswas certified gold in the UK, France, Germany, and Australia, among other countries. Two additional singles, “Loving You Is Killing Me” and “Green Lights,” became European hits as well, leading to interest from Simon Fuller’s XIX Entertainment, with whom Blacc signed a management deal. Last year, he landed a recording contract with Interscope Records.Listen song here:YouTube

ARTURKA DJ - Koala!

The Koala is a small marsupial (pouched mammal) that lives in Australia. Koalas are arboreal, they spend most of their time in eucalyptus (gum) trees. These nocturnal (most active at night) animals spend 18 to 20 hours each day resting and sleeping; they spend much of the night eating. They are aggressive animals who live in woodlands.Koalas are not bears; their closest relative is the wombat. The genus and species of the koala is Phascolarctos cinereus. The koala is up to 2-3 feet (0.6-0.9 m) long, weighing 10-30 pounds (4.5-13.5 kg). The soft, woolly fur is light-gray to brown, and it has patches of white on the chest, neck. and ears. This fur protects them from cold weather and rain. Koalas have rough pads on their feet and hands which are used for gripping the trees they live in. The koala's brain is very small. Like other young marsupials, baby koalas (called joeys) live in their mother's backwards-facing pouch for months. The koala is one of the few animals that has fingerprints (other animals with fingerprints include many primates and fishers). These herbivores (plant-eaters) eat mostly eucalyptus (gum tree), chewing these tough leaves using their powerful jaws. They store unchewed food in cheek pouches. Koalas have a keen sense of smell which they use to make sure the type of gum leaves are edible and not poisonous.Listen song here:YouTube

BlasterJaxx - Faith (Radio Edit)

Thom Jongkind (22) and Idir Makhlaf (21), better known as producer/deejay duo Blasterjaxx in the music industry, are anything but the same. While one is often prominent and empowering, the other prefers staying quietly in the background - a fairly high contrast in character. However, there is one significant reason for the phenomenal connection between these two personalities: their passion and love of music.Mid 2010, Thom Jongkind - then operating by the name of Scalix - decided to set up a DJ duo named Blasterjaxx together with another producer at the time. Thom quickly noticed that huge steps were taken in the field of productions and that the range towards their audience was constantly increasing. Nevertheless, the personal chemistry between both producers started decreasing. Thus, it was Thom who focused more and more on music, while the other producer started having other priorities. Shortly after, they mutually agreed on ending their collaboration as a duo and decided that Thom would continue with the Blasterjaxx label.Because Thom believed that Blasterjaxx would only be complete as a duo, he started looking for possibilities of a new, and this time around, perfect collaboration. In the meantime, Thom had been charmed by Idir Makhlaf for a while, who at the time was operating by the name of Macosta. Only after a few collaborations it was already clear how well they hit off; a new Blasterjaxx duo was born with - what subsequently appeared - an unparalleled amount of talent and potential. Together they plan on taking over the world with their unique sound, which is best described as a crossover between electro-house, big room and latin.Listen song here:YouTube

Alex Gaudino feat. Mario - Beautiful (Starkillers Remix)

Having found acclaimed European success with recent hits 'Destination Calabria' and 'Watch Out', Alex has rapidly built up a reputation as 'One of the most prolific producers in Italy', or at least those are the words of BBC Radio 1's Pete Tong. With a unique sound of fashionably cool house music, Alex's touring schedule has become as illustrious as his studio projects from rubbing shoulders with Chelsea's golden emperor Roman Abramovich in Moscow, to being picked to perform at one of the world's most expensive clubs in Monte Carlo; where the European jet-set bathe in buckets of Cristal champagne and mingle with the fashion hierarchy. Rapidly becoming the chief spokesman for Italian disco, it is evident to see why the pundits say his music reflects all that is fresh and vibrant about house music right now, whilst injecting a savvy and twisted elegance into the aesthetics of being a superstar dj.Well known for his commercial success, topping video and music charts across Europe, the demand for his studio expertises on a remix have grown at a meteoric rate with recent projects including Robbie Rivera 'Aye, Aye', Aye', Gadjo's 'It's Alright', not to mention one of the hottest record labels on the planet, Atlantic, hand picking him to remix The Feeling's 'Turn it Up'. However, it's his latest output from the remix draw that really demonstrates his impressive ability to hop genres as a producer. Called upon by the 'Godfather of Grime' himself, Wiley, to mix his chart busting 'Summertime', Alex provided the official club cut for the track .Listen song here:YouTube
