Mic Anton: We’re known for our club and our dance bangers right now. It’s all catchy, fun, upbeat, mostly pop-based stuff driven by a lot of hip-hop. We’re both big hip-hop fans, but we like to do a lot of everything. We’re both songwriters, we both listen to a lot of different stuff, so you never really know what you’re going to get. Our forte would definitely be the club bangers—The dank songs..C.G.:We went to high school together. But we would see each other out all of the time, and we were like, “Yo, we need to do a record together!” We were sending emails back and forth and we started collaborating, doing a lot of songs together, and then we started doing shows together. People were like, “’C.G. and Mic’ doesn’t look good on the bill,” so we needed a name for ourselves and we came up with Track Eaters. And here we are. I mean, we kind of wanted to create our own sound. I know we don’t listen to radio too much, but our music is pretty mainstream. I guess we influence ourselves, though. Mic will send me a record, I’ll send him a record – We go back and forth all the time.
