Zedd feat. Foxes - Clarity (Drunk Dragons power remix)

Sometimes the most rewarding discoveries are the ones that take you completely by surprise. Foxes is one of those discoveries. Arriving unheralded with her Neon Gold Records’ debut ‘Youth’ late last year, it wasn’t long before the song’s resplendent synths, industrial percussion and by-turns-searing-and-soaring vocal were the talk of the town.Foxes is in actual fact just one – Louisa Rose Allen. The Southampton-born 22 year-old followed her big sister to London the day she turned 18. She tried her hand at studying music but dropped out when she realised it wasn’t the studying part that she enjoyed. With ‘Youth’ (and its mournful b-side ‘Home’, and resulting remixes) having so far garnered over a million combined Soundcloud and YouTube plays, and 1,250 Hypemachine ‘likes’ between them, it’s unlikely she’ll be heading back to class anytime soon. Now she returns with its eagerly awaited follow up, the Warrior EP, led by the dual-pronged attack of lead songs ‘Warrior’ and ‘White Coats’. Foxes will release the Warrior EP on 25 June via Neon Gold Records on 7-inch vinyl and digital EP.Listen song here:YouTube

Boyce Avenue - Somebody (Pascal Junior Remix 2013)

Boyce Avenue, a Florida-based band popular for its strong acoustic roots and melodic rock sound, consists of the three brothers Alejandro, Fabian, and Daniel Manzano. The brothers first came together as a band in 2004 when Alejandro (lead vocals, guitar, piano), Fabian (guitar, vocals), and their older brother Daniel (bass, percussion, vocals) reconnected after pursuing their respective educational goals. While music was always a part of their lives and ultimately their collective goal, pursuing a higher education was also important to the brothers. After graduating from Harvard Law School, Daniel moved back to Florida, to join his brothers Fabian and Alejandro, who were both attending classes at the University of Florida. It was there that the brothers continued to write music and to perform local shows, and took their most formative steps toward becoming a band.In 2007, in an effort to share their music and ideas with the world, the band decided to start filming and posting videos on YouTube of their own songs and some of their favorite songs by other artists. Some of the first few videos they posted included acoustic versions of songs such as Justin Timberlake’s “LoveStoned”, Rihanna’s “Umbrella”, and Coldplay’s “Viva la Vida”, among many others. The videos resonated instantly with YouTube viewers. And to date, the band has over 300,000,000 views on YouTube and over 2,600,000 subscribers to their channel, making theirs one of the most frequented channels worldwide on YouTube. Early on, the band wanted to set itself apart from other acts that had achieved success online by taking its music straight to the people, live. Believing firmly in the strength of their online fans, and in its music, the band booked a stand-alone show in New York City in January of 2009, for their first ever performance in the city. Surprising label and industry folks alike, the show - perceived by others as a gamble - was an enormous sellout and success. Since then, the band has been steadily touring the world over with similar results. In early 2009, the band performed for an estimated total of 25,000 fans over four headline shows in the Philippines. And on the heels of its whirlwind success in the Philippines, the band launched headline tours in the USA, Canada, and Europe. In response to the staunch support of its fans, this Summer/Fall of 2011 sees the band playing headline shows in Indonesia, Australia, USA, Canada, and Europe, and playing in iconic rooms thoughout the world, such as The Fillmore in San Francisco, Webster Hall in New York, The Riviera Theatre in Chicago, The Sound Academy in Toronto, Shepherd's Bush in London, The Olympia Theatre in Dublin, and Live Music Hall in Cologne.Listen song here:YouTube

NERVO - Hold On

Starting out in the mid-2000’s, Australian sisters Mim and Liv Nervo made their name by writing smash singles for artists like Ke$ha and Kylie Minogue, remixing superstars like Katy Perry and Thirty Seconds to Mars, and joining forces with David Guetta to co-write his Grammy-winning “When Love Takes Over.” They quickly built upon that experience by releasing music under their own name, NERVO, alongside some of the biggest producers today including Afrojack, Steve Aoki and Nicky Romero, while tearing through arenas across North America on the Britney Spears/Nicki Minaj Femme Fatale tour. Now, one of the most sought after acts in dance music, NERVO, can be found balancing their rigorous worldwide touring schedule while working on their debut album that soaks deadly-catchy melody into the loud, dirty beats that set apart their brand of progressive and electro-house.When not in the studio Mim and Liv can most likely be found spinning at clubs, parties, and festivals all around the world, with their travels including stops at Lollapalooza, Electric Daisy, Ultra and Tomorrowland where they notably celebrated their first Beatport #1 song, “The Way We See The World” (the official Tomorrowland 2011 anthem, co-written and co-produced with Afrojack, Dimitri Vegas, and Like Mike). Their club addiction manifested itself in their first Winter Music Conference party this past year (a Delano Hotel event that featured NERVO along with R3HAB, Adrian Lux, Sneaky Sound System, Hook N Sling, and Quintino) as well as two major residencies in 2012: one at the Wynn Hotel Group in the newly anointed EDM mecca of Las Vegas, the other at Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel.Listen song here:YouTube
