Armin Van Buuren - We Are Here To Make Some Noise (Euro 2012 Anthem) - ASOT 559

Born in Leiden, Holland (on December 25, 1976) to a musical family, Armin indulged his passion for music from a young age. He spent all the money he earned with his paper round on records. His mum won a computer when he was 10, gaining Armin’s interest. “So as a little nerdy kid I was writing my own basic programs, and learnt about the technology from there.” He progressed from making low-profile mix tapes for friends to higher profile mixes when he discovered experimenting with different sequences on his computer through his uncle. Armin van Buuren has been named number one in the prestigious DJ MAG Top 100 poll four times in a row, in 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010, as the first DJ in the history of the DJ Magazine and an indication of his prolific output over the more than 15 years he’s been dj’ing and producing. In 2011, he became second in the critically acclaimed popularity poll, taking in a Top 3 position for the 8th year running. Being one of the world’s most popular DJ’s is just one of his many achievements, but the driving force behind his success is an overriding passion for dance music.Listen song here:YouTube

Pryda - SW4 (Club Mix)

Eric Sheridan Prydz (Pryda) (born July 19, 1976) is a Swedish DJ and producer based in London, United Kingdom. The pronunciation of his surname is often questioned; it is pronounced "prids", but when under his alias, Pryda, it is pronounced "pride-ah".In October 2011, DJ Magazine announced the results of their annual Top 100 DJ Poll, where Prydz placed at #46. Until recently, Prydz had only played shows in and around Europe as he has a fear of flying. In December 2008, Prydz was forced to cancel several dates in Australia, New Zealand and Malta after panic attacks prevented him from boarding the outbound flight. On Armin van Buuren's radio show "A State of Trance" in February 2011, it was announced that Prydz recently became a father. His debut live show called "EPIC" (Eric Prydz in Concert) was held on April 2nd, 2011 at the O2 Brixton Academy Arena in London where he played most of his own production, as well as unfinished and upcoming tracks. In late 2009, Prydz told followers on his Facebook and Twitter accounts that his album had been completed and was going to be a Pryda album. The track 'SW4', from the album, was released as a single on May 07. Pryda has become a genre-defining stable and is one of the most successful and influential dance labels in the world.

Ewa - Piece of me (Official Radio Edit)

In music, a radio edit is a modification to make a song more suitable for airplay, whether it be adjusted for length, profanity, subject matter, instrumentation, or form. Radio edits may also be used for commercial single versions, which may be denoted as the 7" version. Radio edits often shorten a longer song to make it more commercially viable for radio stations. The normal length for songs played on the radio is 3 to 4 minutes. Occasionally, the song will simply fade out earlier, common on tracks with long instrumental endings. For instance, the radio edit of 'Heroes' by David Bowie fades in shortly before the beginning of the third verse and fades out shortly before the vocal vamping at the end of the song. However, many radio edits will also edit out verses, bridges, and interludes, such as the original single edit of "Piano Man" by Billy Joel which substitutes the end of the third verse for the ending of the second verse. Some songs will be remixed heavily and feature different arrangements than the original longer versions, occasionally even being completely different recordings. A popular example of this would be "Revolution" by The Beatles which is a completely different recording than the version which appears on The White Album. This also became more prevalent with the rise of the 12" record, as artists like New Order started making songs specifically for the format. Many of the 7" mixes aimed for pop radio airplay of their songs feature very different arrangements, such as "Bizarre Love Triangle", or even a completely different recording, such as "Temptation".Listen song here:YouTube

LIK & DAK - Fiesta

What is house music?House music is a genre of electronic dance music that originated in the American city of Chicago, Illinois in the early 1980s.House is uptempo music for dancing, although by modern dance-music standards it is mid-tempo, generally ranging between 118 and 135 bpm. Tempos tended to be slower in the early years of house.Early house music was generally dance-based music characterised by repetitive 4/4 beats and rhythms centered around drum machines,off-beat hi-hat cymbals and synthesized basslines. While house displayed several characteristics similar to disco music, it was more electronic and minimalistic, and the structured music's focus around a repetitive rhythm was more important than the song itself. House music today, while keeping several of these core elements, notably the prominent kick drum on every beat, varies a lot in style and influence, ranging from the soulful and atmospheric deep house, to the more minimalistic microhouse. House music has also fused with several other genres creating fusion subgenres, such as Euro house and tech house.

Deadmau5 feat. Chris James - The Veldt (Radio Edit)

Joel Zimmerman doesn't like being called a DJ. The 28-year-old dance music phenomenon from Toronto, better known as Deadmau5, rolls his eyes at the description, which he sees as a hopelessly outdated way of describing what he does. His sets are closer to live performances. He plays mostly his own material, assembling tracks on the fly, using cutting edge computer technology, including software he's helped write himself. "There are no CDs involved," he explains. "It's a technological orgy up there and I try and keep it more my music than anyone else's. If people come out to see Deadmau5 I want them to hear Deadmau5 music." It's an approach that's catapulted Deadmau5 into dance music's A-list. It's no exaggeration to say that he's the most exciting name in clubland right now. Over the last three years he's released a string of club hits, starting with the trance-house hybrid Faxing Berlin in 2006. It was followed last year by the euphoric filtered keys of Ghosts N Stuff, while this year he reached Number 14 with the lush atmospherics of I Remember, his collaboration with American producer Kaskade — the track has now sold over 120,000 copies.

Tanzamomo feat El 3mendo "Rum & Coca"

Rum & Coca (The Cuba Libre) is a highball made of cola, lime, and white rum. This highball is often referred to as a Rum and Coke in the United States, Canada, the UK and Ireland, where the lime juice must be included . This drink was once viewed as exotic, with its dark syrup, made (at that time) from cola nuts and coca. The drink gained further popularity in the United States after the Andrews Sisters recorded a song (in 1945) named after the drink's ingredients, "Rum and Coca-Cola". Cola and rum were both cheap at the time and this also contributed to the widespread popularity of the concoction. In Australia, the more popularly known drink is simply Rum and Coke or "Rumbo", which contains no lime, commonly uses a local dark rum and can be purchased in cans as a ready-to-drink. However, the combination of light rum, brown sugar and cola is commonly ordered at cocktail bars as a Cuba Libre. In Britain, the drink is most commonly served without the lime juice and ordered simply as a Bacardi and Coke. When the lime juice is included and rubbed around the rim of the glass it can be known as a Lou Bega, after the popular singer. n Russia Cuba Libre without the lime juice is called Rock-n-Roll Star, after a popular song that features the recipe. Any distilled spirit could be substituted for a rum in a pinch, but these variations generally do not have any specific names.

MIchal Lazar & Waveshock- He's Mine 2012

My real name is Dominik Malolepszy and I’m from Wroclaw (Poland). I’m a young DJ (for a year) and music producer (for about 5 years). I make music on my pc. And also, I like sausage. In the beginning of my adventure with music, I was creating simple dance tracks. Back then I released my first track on a compilation released by one of the most popular clubs in my country. My track, Shake Me Down, was released in Energy 2000 Mix 03.06. With time I decided to do something more than just producing music. I decided to be a DJ. I bought my first decks and some vinyls to train mixing skills, but it didn’t fully meet my expectations… I wanted to test my skills in club with some real clubbers and then I met a person who changed my point of view in my perception of music… DJ Radi aka Radi S. (Radoslaw Sarzynski) is one the most famous DJs in Poland, but he’s also a good friend and a teacher too. He showed me how to be a real DJ. Due to him and my own work, I could soon play in the biggest clubs in my city. Thanks to him I have also changed the music that I make … He convinced me to produce and play more ambitious music like trance, techtrance or electro house. In my DJ career I have already played with these DJ personas: Randy Katana (NL), 4 Strings(NL), DJ Kris, C-Bool, Kalwi & Remi, Hazel…And here are some peeps often present in my speakers: House: Axwell, Angello, Ingrosso, Hatrias, Clamaran, Tocadisco, Eric Prydz / Pryda, Heiko&Maiko, Laurent Wolf, Junior Jack, Olav Basoski, Dave Amo & Julio Navas, Yomanda and many more.

Dragonette - Let It Go (Laidback Luke Remix)

Born in the Philippines, raised in the Netherlands, as a kid Luke loved guitars, graffiti, house and hip-hop, taking the ‘laid back’ tag from Snoop Dogg’s ‘Gin & Juice’. He had a mentor in Dobre (Chocolate Puma) and by 1996 was releasing tracks, remixing for established artists and DJing professionally. He even beat a Dutch DMC champ in battle.Performing and producing relentlessly and innovating musically as an artist like nobody else has propelled Luke and his superhuman fusion of hyper drive house step & ghetto jack trance bass to stratospheric new heights over the last couple of years. In 2010, he's already remixed Wynter Gordon's 'Dirty Talk', as well as Ferry Corsten, Calvin Harris and Moby, and his own projects, like 'Till Tonight' feat. Jonathan Mendelsohn, and 'Turbulence' by Luke and Steve Aoki feat. Lil Jon, have gone global. There have been three nominations for Luke in the Beatport Music Awards – and an International Dance Music Award (IDMA) gong in the Best House/Garage Track category for his work on ‘Leave The World Behind’. So what more can the new decade bring for our r-evolutionary rebel? Well, with the crazy energy that he conveys and the martial arts that he practises, rest assured it will be out of this world. Yes, our fresh-faced superhero has good 'kung fu', always keeping an ear to the ground while his creativity rockets skyward. Luke, we salute you!

Track Eaters - Jersey Music (Hydra Remix)

Mic Anton: We’re known for our club and our dance bangers right now. It’s all catchy, fun, upbeat, mostly pop-based stuff driven by a lot of hip-hop. We’re both big hip-hop fans, but we like to do a lot of everything. We’re both songwriters, we both listen to a lot of different stuff, so you never really know what you’re going to get. Our forte would definitely be the club bangers—The dank songs..C.G.:We went to high school together. But we would see each other out all of the time, and we were like, “Yo, we need to do a record together!” We were sending emails back and forth and we started collaborating, doing a lot of songs together, and then we started doing shows together. People were like, “’C.G. and Mic’ doesn’t look good on the bill,” so we needed a name for ourselves and we came up with Track Eaters. And here we are. I mean, we kind of wanted to create our own sound. I know we don’t listen to radio too much, but our music is pretty mainstream. I guess we influence ourselves, though. Mic will send me a record, I’ll send him a record – We go back and forth all the time.
