The trio SEREBRO consists of Elena Temnikova, Olga
Seryabkina, and Anastasya Karpova. The band was founded by a well-known Russian
producer Maxim Fadeev in 2006. Success as a music group came in 2007 with the
girls participating in Eurovision Song Contest. SEREBRO showed Europe their
debut single “Song#1” performance which zoomed them to #3, and made the trio
well-known in Russia and beyond it. After “Song#1” release the group continued
with their spawning singles “Dishi”, “Opium”, “Skazhi – ne molchi”, which
topped the major Russian music charts. SEREBRO has already recorded their debut
album “OpiumROZ” which was called by Billboard magazine – one of the leading Russian
music editions - “the most expected release of 2008”. SEREBRO has developed its
conceptual and austere image. Still, the girls are always open for something
different: they’re in a constant search for new images, new forms of
self-expression, and new waves. That’s the catch of the trio which continues to
attract people to its fast-developing music work. The group already has a lot
of awards and prizes: “Zolotoy Grammofon”, “Kommersant-rating 2007” as the best
debut and many others. The collection of awards includes a deserved “Russian
Doll” prize in the “Best Debut” nomination, that was presented by MTV RMA 2007,
and already in 2008 SEREBRO was chosen as the BEST group of the year by MTV
Russia audience.Listen song here:YouTube
